"...and someone to care for them if the mothers were unable to return." She adds with a smile in the sound of her purr.
She nuzzles them and briefly wonders what Balthazar will think of her carrying a bunch of kittens home to mother. "I have raised my own children."
Beneath it all was her biological clock, which an angel shouldn't have, but maybe this would dampen that drive a little.
